Information Session

Partnering with the Bunun (a Taiwanese aborigines tribe) church to reach the people in 2 Hakka Villages in Taiwan.

When: approx. 7/1 – 7/10 English Camp: 7/4-7/9Preparation/Training: April - June

Where: Taiwan, Nantou, TongFu/ShenMu/DongPu

Where: TongFu Elementary School

What: conducting English Camp for TongFuElementary and Junior High students (est. 200+)

What: conduct visitation and Bible Study for theShenMu families whose homes were damaged bythe August 8, 2009 flood

Schedule

• Overall Schedule– Fri to Sun (7/1-7/3) arrival, settle in, preparation,

Sunday worships– Mon to Fri (7/4-7/8) English Camp– Sat (7/9) talent show/family outreach– Sun (7/10) special service for families

• Weekday daily schedule– English camp in the morning– Sports and other activities (ex. Visitation, special

topic, one-on-one time, prayer walk, practice for talent show, …etc) in the afternoon

– Family visitation or Bible study at night.

Cost per person

• Time:– Spiritual preparation: daily devotion, training– Physical preparation– Curriculum preparation

• Money:– $500 to cover own lodging, food, local transportation,

materials– Airfare, if purchased as group and early, may be

cheaper. Last year $1,800. Search online, cheapest found 3/15 is $1,181

Whom needed• Born again Christian• Wants to share the gospel with elementary/junior hig

h students and their families in Nantou, Taiwan• Must be over 18 years old (unless going with parent)• Holds valid USA passport• Language: English, Hakka, Mandarin, or Taiwanese.• Talents needed: sharing gospel, teach children, teac

h English, lead singsperation, play musical instrument, play sports, conduct visitation, lead Bible study, curriculum planning, multimedia skills (daily Christian message presentation involving filming of the children), team support
