In 1960, Don Anderson founded Don Anderson Haulage Ltd. with a sin-gle axle dump truck and a mission to provide better customer service to all. Today, the second generation of our family-owned and operated business continues to exceed our customers’ expectations, by providing unmatched, asset-based service, value and expertise to each of our trans-portation offerings, in the highly specialized, over dimensional/heavy haul transportation sector. We serve our North American customers from our Home Office and Oper-ations Centre in Gormley, Ontario (1/2 hour north of Toronto) and com-modities customers through ATS, our truck and rail division in Brockville, Ontario.

Our state-of-the-art 5 bay service garage and skilled technicians ensure that our modern, company-owned fleet remains

in top condition.

Our Head Office and North American Operations Centre is 30 minutes from downtown Toronto, with direct access to the 400 series Highways and less than 1km from our yard.

We have an onsite state-of the-art garage with in-house licensed technicians. With multiple service bays, we’re able to constantly maintain our vehicles, as well as design, configure, test and troubleshoot equipment simultaneously, prior to utilization, in any of our specialized transportation operations.

Tour our facility and/or attend one of our general Over-Dimensional and Overweight Transportation Lunch & Learn sessions. Post-award, we also offer project-specific Lunch & Learn/Kick-off sessions to meet and greet teams, and align stakeholders with transportation plans.

The OTA’s highest honour, was awarded to our founder, Don Anderson for his

commitment, vision, leadership and out-standing contribution to the truck trans-

portation industry. Don also served on the OTA’s Board of Directors for many years.

We are an esteemed member of the SC&RA, an organization that represents

more than 1,300 companies in 46 nations that operate in crane and rigging opera-

tions/specialized transportation.

CARSP was formed in 1985 and is a na-tional organization dedicated to enhanc-ing road safety at home and abroad. We are consistently recognized by the CARSP for having a lower than average industry

injury rate.

Our founder Don Anderson’s vision of “providing better customer service” has certainly worked. Sometimes, it’s just that simple; stick to your values and work hard. Don was highly respected and admired throughout the industry by peers and competitors alike, and his advice to young people wanting to start a business remains “be honest and treat people fairly.” In keeping with Don’s passion for trucks and his love for his home com-munity of Whitchurch-Stouffville, Ontario, the Don Anderson Haulage Scholarship Fund supports tuition for approved Transportation and or Heavy Equipment Operator College Programs for two graduates each year, in addition to the other charitable organizations that impact the lives of the Anderson family, their community and the communities in which we operate.
