Fabric A [27334-E] (Large Sewing Machine Picture Patches), cut:
• (9) 10½" panel squares, centering design.
Fabric B [27336-Q] (Sewing Machines, Lt Aqua), cut:
• (7) 4½" x WOF strips. Piece strips together; subcut (2) 4½" x 62½" strips and (2) 4½" x 70½" strips.
Fabric C [27338-E] (Scissors, Taupe), cut:• (4) 2" x WOF strips. Subcut (4) 2" x 12½" rectangles
and (4) 2" x 15½" rectangles.
Fabric D [27339-C] (Vintage Patches, Coral), cut:• (2) 2" x WOF strips. Subcut (2) 2" x 12½" rectangles

• (2) 2¾" x WOF strips. Subcut (16) 2¾" squares. Cut squares diagonally twice to yield 64 QSTs.
• (2) 2⅜" x WOF strips. Subcut (32) 2⅜" squares. Cut squares diagonally once to yield 64 HSTs.
• (1) 3½" x WOF strip. Subcut (24) 1½" x 3½" rect-angles.
• (6) 2" x WOF strips. Piece strips together; subcut (2) 2" x 57½" and (2) 2" x 60½" strips.
• (12) 1½" x WOF strips. Subcut (18) 1½" x 10½" rectangles and (18) 1½" x 12½" rectangles.
SEWING INSTRUCTIONSUse a ¼" seam allowance throughout.
Pieced Blocks (make 9)1. Sew (2) 1½" x 10½" Fabric K rectangles to the sides of a 10½" Fabric A panel square. Sew (2) Fabric K 1½" x 12½" rectangles to the top and bottom as shown. Block should measure 12½" square. Repeat this step for remaining eight Fabric A panel squares.
2. Select all 2" x 12½" and 2" x 15½" rectangles for Fabrics C, D, E, G, H, and I. Using the quilt image on page one as a guide for fabric placement, sew (2) 2" x 12½" rectangles to the sides of a Fabric A block. Sew (2) 2" x 15½" rectangles to the top/bottom to complete one Pieced Block. Block should measure 15½" square. Make a total of three Pieced Blocks using Fabric G, two blocks with Fabric C and one block each using Fabrics D, E, H, and I.

Sashing Units (make 24)1. Sew two 1½" x 7½" Fabric K rectangles and one 1½" x 7½" Fabric J rectangle together as shown for one unit. Unit should measure 3½" x 7½". Make 48 units.
2. Sew two units and one 1½" x 3½" Fabric K rectangle together as shown for one Sashing Unit. Sashing Unit should measure 3½" x 15½". Make 24 Sashing Units.
Row Cornerstone Blocks (make 16)1. Join one Fabric F QST and one Fabric K QST together as shown to make a pieced HST. Sew one Fabric K HST to the Fabric F/K HST to make a 2" square. Make 64 squares.
2. Sew four squares together as shown to make one Cornerstone. Cornerstone Block should measure 3½" square. Make 16 Cornerstone Blocks.
Quilt Center AssemblyRefer to the Quilt Assembly Diagram on page 5 for the following steps.
1. Sew four Cornerstone Blocks and three Sashing Units together as shown for one Sashing Row. Sashing Row should measure 3½" x 57½". Make four Sashing Rows.
2. Lay out the Pieced Blocks, remaining Sashing Units, and Sashing Rows.
3. Sew three Pieced Blocks and four Sashing Units together for a Block Row. Row should measure 15½" x 57½". Make a total of three Block Rows.
4. Sew Block and Sashing Rows together to complete quilt center. Quilt center should measure 57½" square.
Quilt Top AssemblyRefer to the Quilt Assembly Diagram on page 5 for the following steps.
1. Sew the 2" x 57½" Fabric K strips to the sides of the quilt center. Sew the 2" x 60½" Fabric K strips to the top and bottom. Quilt center should measure 60½" square.
2. Sew the 1½" x 60½" Fabric F strips to the sides of the quilt center. Sew the 1½" x 62½" Fabric F strips to the top and bottom. Quilt center should measure 62½" square.
3. Sew the 4½" x 62½" Fabric B strips to the sides of quilt center. Sew the 4½" x 70½" Fabric B strips to the top and bottom to complete quilt top. Quilt top should measure 70½" square.
FINISHING1. Cut the backing fabric into two equal lengths. Sew the pieces together lengthwise. Press the seam allow-ance toward one side. Trim backing to 78" x 78".
2. Layer the backing (seam placed vertically), batting, and quilt top; baste. Quilt as desired. Trim batting and backing even with the quilt top.
3. Using the 2¼"-wide Fabric D strips, make double fold binding and attach it to the quilt.
