SSgt. Aaron Hampton, US Army (ret.) developed the idea of the TACMOD Sniper Chassis system in 2008 as an improvement for the Remington Model 700. As the former team leader of the Army’s Marksmanship Unit (USAMU), Aaron saw how the chassis construction of the (700/SA) USMC M40A3 Sniper Rifle and the (700/LA) US Army M24 Sniper Weapon system were detrimental to the accuracy and versatility needed in the field. He designed the TACMOD to address these issues and to create the ideal chassis system. Over the years, Aaron has worked with our team to make additional improvements to the TACMOD system.

The TACMOD can be used for all calibers of the Remington 700, eliminating the need for additional training between platforms. Machined from 7075-T6 hard anodized aluminum, The TACMOD is lightweight, fully modular and mission configurable, allowing the user to switch out the caliber, barrel size and rail configuration within minutes. The TACMOD allows a sniper team to provide support in urban environments and in “ridge to ridge” combat with the same rifle system.

Our new G2 Hinge System locks up tight. No movement while aiming, no give under recoil. The folding mechanism does not impede the use of the rifle action while in the folded position.

The TACMOD chassis allows the operator to change the action while in the field and without removing the trigger or optics. Remove two screws from the existing Model 700 and the barreled action simply drops in. The result is a fully free-floating stock and an action that now accepts high-capacity Accuracy International (AI)-style box magazines.

The TACMOD chassis integrates a chambered action cut which makes minimal contact with the 700 action, ensuring a repeatable self-centering installation. The operator can install the action and optic combination without losing the optic zero. The complete install only takes about 5 minutes and simply involves one 3/16 Allen key. If you plan on changing out the action, the torque wrench installation is recommended. While “two grunts tight” would work for a basic installation, consistantly torquing to @65 ft·lb would eliminate the need to re-zero your optic. The installation can be performed at the soldier/operator level in the field and on the fly. This simple installation requires no gun-smith knowledge or technical support.

Designed and refined by competition and precision shooters in the USAMU, the TACMOD AR-15 buttstock features a fully adjustable Kydex comb, allowing repeatable cheek placement for iron sights and optics of any height. The length of pull is fully adjustable and independent of the comb. The cant adjustment of the Limbsaver recoil pad fits each individual’s shooting style. Provisioned for quick-detach (QD) sling swivels (both left and right), Picatinny rails (sold separately) and monopod attachments.

The TACMOD modular rails are constructed from the same 7075-T6 hard anodized aluminum as the chassis system. These rails attach to the stainless steel inserts on the TACMOD free-floating tube using Holo-Krome hex screws, and can be installed in the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions. Offered in three different sizes (3, 6 and 12 in. rails), can be purchased individually or in a set.

Designed in conjunction with top-level US Army snipers and competition precision shooters, the MOSM mount is a solidly built, 1 piece, modular and repeatable quick-release scope mount. The MOSM provides the same accuracy and dependability as the best permanent attached mounts and meets or exceeds requirements for the US Army’s Compact Semi-Automatic Sniper System (CSASS) program.

The patent-pending quick mount locking clamp allows fast removal of the scope for storage, transport, or when interfacing with different firearms. With a stainless steel rubbing plate, tool-less adjustment, flat-sided cross bolts and Unbrako hardware, the quick-release

clamp adds flexibility and durability to your mounting solution.

The entire body of the MOSM mount is precision machined in one process on a 5-axis CNC machine, cut from a solid billet of 7075-T6 aluminum. Machining the base from a solid billet allows the rings to be perfectly aligned and ensures that your high-end optic is not subjected to stress or tension when the mount is torqued tight.

The MOSM is the ultimate drop-in mounting solution, requiring no gunsmith support or special training. Its solid construction is ideal for use on large caliber bolt action, competition, or precision sniper rifles.

The first MOSM® prototype was dubbed the “Alpha” Mount. Constructed from 7075 Aluminum with Stainless Steel bolt inserts, the Alpha mount is an excellent choice for the large caliber rifles including the .338 Lapua or .50 BMG. Critical Stress points work away from recoil forces to prevent shearing off. The Alpha model features a modular MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail system on the front and rear rings which can be

configured as needed. The Alpha will accept up to 6 MIL-STD 1913 auxiliary Picatinny rails, that can be positioned in the 90° or 45° positions (circular array) on either the front or rear rings. As an additional feature, the Alpha includes the integrated bubble level which can be flipped and stowed inside the mount body for protection in transit. The MOSM® Alpha model is available in either a 30mm or 34mm ring configuration.

Since first production of the Alpha initiated, we have added another “lightweight” version designated the “Bravo” Mount. The Bravo has the same basic design as our Alpha mount, including the 7075 Aluminum construction and Stainless Steel bolt inserts. Some of the notable differences are the single width rings, and auxiliary rail attachment points. The Bravo model with accept up to 4 MIL-STD 1913 auxiliary Picatinny

rails, and the bubble level has been removed. The Bravo may be better suited for some of the smaller caliber bolt rifles and AR platforms. Like the Alpha, the MOSM® Bravo model is available in either a 30mm or 34mm ring configuration. Both the Alpha and Bravo mounts keep the center of objective 1.44” above the rail which provides optimum co-witness with clip-on ancillary and night vision devices.

Encased in precision machined 7075 Aluminum, this bubble level comes pre-installed on all MOSM Alpha scope mounts. They provide a visual reference to ensure your crosshairs are parallel with the horizon, resulting in greater accuracy and longer ranges. The level can be flipped and stored inside the body of the scope mount for added protection during transport and stowage.

Our new patent-pending quick mount locking clamp is unaffected by the recoil forces that break conventional flip lever designs. The cross bolts are flat on both sides to allow more material to contact with the Picatinny rail cross cuts. We have integrated stainless steel on the rubbing plate and

included Unbrako hardware for finger tightening tool-less adjustments. The rail contact plate has an oblique rounded edge with “V” notches on both sides, allowing it to fit like a puzzle piece. The MOSM provides excellent repeatability with loss of zero or compromise to accuracy.

When our personnel are in the field, they need a dependable, full featured, easy to carry shooting rest. The S7 bipod is the most up-to-date, fully featured, and reliable small arms bipod on the market. Designed in conjunction with top-level competitive shooters and active-duty personnel, the S7 has revolutionary, patent-pending features are not found on any competing bipod. It gives the shooter the control and stability needed to make the perfect shot, even under the most difficult circumstances.

The S7 bipod was designed to give the modern sniper, who is employing larger caliber more accurate rifles, a suitable support. There are several high-end bipod manufactures in the firearm industry. However, we have found that most bipods on the market all have their own limitations. Some manufactures choose to build their products out of softer materials, and integrate the bare minimum when it comes to features.

The S7 bipod is specifically designed to enhance precision for shoulder-fired weapons systems for all calibers up to, and including the .338 Lapua and .50 cal BMG. Easy to install and use, the S7 quickly installs on any standard mil-spec “Picatinny” rail. Expertly designed and manufactured, it is the only bipod that offers perfectly smooth tracking and canting features which are built on needle bearings. This allows the shooter to seamlessly engage moving targets and transition from target to target without any drag or vibration, which could cause a slight variation in shooter accuracy.

The S7 also features positive bipod leg lock-up at 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, and 180° degrees. 100% Made in the USA at the KFS Industries manufacturing facility based in Atlanta, Georgia. The S7 has a clear advantage in long-range precision shooting, when used by an individual marksman or as part of a sniper team.

Like the panning action, the Cant-Tilt function is also controlled with a friction-type lever. This offers slight resistance, or total lock-up, using the same clockwise/counter clockwise motion. The S7 Cant-Tilt function will cant-tilt 30° in either direction, for a full 60° of canting or tilting ability. With such a large range of adjustment, you are always able to level your crosshairs in any environment. A slight resistance will allow the bipod to promptly and repeatedly, compensate for uneven ground without manually adjusting the leg height. Additionally, the ability to quickly lock the position permits the bipod to be set and ready for action in a fraction of a second.

The advanced Pan-Track function is controlled with a friction-type lever which offers slight resistance, or total lock-up, using a clockwise/counter clockwise motion. The lever handle can be re-positioned based on personal shooters preference. The S7 will pan-track 30° in either direction, for a full 60° of panning and tracking ability. The panning action is designed around needle bearings which provide very precise and smooth tracking, or rapid target transitions at all ranges. The fully enclosed sealed needle bearings have a rated work load of 1,000 pounds and are sufficient for any caliber rifle, including the .338 Lapua or .50 Caliber BMG.

The S7 rubber feet are constructed from non-marring Santoprene for durability, but are soft enough to use safely on just about any surface. They tend to be more universal and allow traction on everything from car hoods, to rocky or harder surfaces like shooting benches. The Rubber feet also include an angled bottom to allow greater contact with the shooting surface.

The patented precision machined S7 bipod legs operate on a Roto-Lock type axis. The legs can be “Locked and Loaded” in 5 different positions. S7 legs can be locked at 0°, 45°, 90°, 135°, and 180° degrees. In combination with our Pan and Cant features, this allows you as the operator, to set-up the S7 bipod and level the crosshairs in any terrain. Positioning the legs is simple. Just push-in and turn left/right to the desired position. The bipod legs will snap in place.

The Raptor Claws are an S7 original. These feet have been designed to enhance your shooting position when ‘loading’ the bipod or trying to grab onto any type of footing. With the S7’s legs locked in the 45 degree position, Raptor Claws attached, and the bipod ‘loaded’ we are able to watch our own trace regularly. This is something that many of us have been trying to achieve for years, and the Raptor claws have now made this possible.
