• It is your responsibility to: – Buy a Mini-DV tape (or use Flip camera)– Make sure the camera is charged the
day before– Get the camera– Arrange for a friend to record you– Check to see if there are any kids who
cannot be recorded and make necessary arrangements
Introduction to Video - Recording
• General Shooting tips– Add light if possible– Use the external microphone– Don’t zoom or pan too much– Focus on teacher– Don’t film entire hour – 15-20 minutes only– Pause frequently (especially with FLIP)– Aim for a range of teaching activities– Be sure to record work samples
