FindmusiconBandcampusingtheapp’sDiscoverfeature.Itisapowerfulsearchenginethatcanbeusedtofindartists,tracks,andalbumswithinspecifiedgenresofmusic.Onceyouenterakeyword,theDiscoverfeaturewillsearchandfindaninstanceofthekeywordineveryartistname,albumname,trackname,andevenfannameineverymusicgenre.Theusercanalsonarrowthesearchforartistsbyselectingacityfromalistofworldwidelocations.

Thereare12defaultgenresthatthatyoucanbrowsethrough,rangingfrombest-sellingtoR&B/soul,andeachgenrehasitsownsubcategories.Theusercanevencreateacustomgenre.

Onceyoufindasong,album,orartistthatinterestsyou,youcanlistentothemusiconBandcampforfree.

PURCHASINGFEATURE

PurchasemusicyoulikeonBandcamp.Someartistsgiveyouthechoicesofbuyingtheiralbumasadigitalalbum,vinyl,compactdisc,orcassettes.Thepriceofthemusicwillvarydependingontheartist.Somechoosetoselltheirmusicatasetprice,butsomegiveyoutheoptionofdonatinganamountofyourchoicefortheirmusic.

WISHLISTFEATURE

Likeanalbumbutnotreadytopurchaseitjustyet?Saveitinyourwishlistbytappingonthe“Wishlist”tab.Thislistallowsyoutokeeptrackofthemusicyoudiscoveredandlikedevenifyoudonotpurchaseit.Simplygotoyourprofileandallthealbumsonyourwishlistwillbeconsolidatedunderthe“wishlist”tab,makingiteasytogobacktoanalbumyoulistenedtodaysorevenmonthsago.

OtherusersontheBandcampappwillalsobeabletoseeyourwishlistwhenviewingyourprofile.Theywillbeabletodifferentiatethemusicyoualreadyboughtfromthemusicyoulikedbuthavenotpurchased.Thewishlistalsoallowsotheruserstoeasilypurchasemusicforyou.Itwillhelpthemseewhatyouenjoylisteningtoandwhatyouwouldreallylovetohave,makinggift-givinghasslefree.

FollowartistsSimplytapthe“Follow”buttononyourfavoriteartists’pagestogetalloftheircurrentandfutureupdates.Viewalltheartistsyouarefollowingbytappingthe“followers”buttononyourprofile.

CatchmusicassoonasitisreleasedKeepuptodatewithallyourfavoriteartists’releasesanduploadsusingthe“musicfeed”tab.Thistabwillinformyouanytimenewmusichascomeout,allowingyoutolistentothemusicassoonasitisout.Youcanchoosetoshareanyartist’snewsandupdatesonanotherplatformofyourchoosing,whetheritisemail,Facebook,Twitter,oreventextmessage.
