Racing and Wagering Western Australia has the pleasure of presenting the Racing Industry StatusReport for 2018/19.

The purpose of the report is to provide information that will give stakeholders and other interestedparties a snapshot of the status of the WA Racing Industry for the year. The information providedcovers racing and wagering statistics for all three codes.

2017/18 was a 53-week financial year, so 2018/19 incorporates one less week’s racing compared tothe data published for last year.*

The report incorporates and complements information published by the Department of LocalGovernment, Sport and Cultural Industries.
