The minutes of 133rd meeting of NRC held on 31st October to 01st November, 2008 has been uploaded on the website (excepting 5 court cases) of NCTE.

The NRC confirmed the minutes of 133rd NRC Meeting held on 31st – 01st November, 2008.

The NRC noted the contents of the HQtrs letters no. 42-47/2007/NCTE (N & S) 86019 dated 01.10.2008, and also letter no. dated 31.10.2008. The NRC considered the matter and also decided to close the applications as per the direction of the NCTE HQtrs.

2. The NRC Considered the recommendation of the Govt. of Rajasthan Letter No.i-10¼16½ f’k{kk & I/2007 dated 17.11.2008 and the NCTE Letter No. 49-27/2007/NCTE(N&S) Part dated 19.11.2008 and decided not to consider any application for B.Ed/ STC/ Shiksha Shastri Courses for the academic session 2009-2010 and all pending such applications be returned along with processing fee and other documents to the institutions concerned. Further the committee also discussed the matter relating to the inspection reports which are pending for taking decision and decided to implement the policy of the State Govt. of

Rajasthan concerned vide letter no.i-10¼16½ f’k{kk & I/2007 dated 17.11.2008.3. The committee recommended to the NCTE Hqtrs that the processing fee of the inspected cases should be returned. Further the committee also advised the Regional Director to send the recommendation of the NRC to the NCTE Hqtrs and to seek clarification in respect of the return of the Processing Fee of the cases in which the inspections have already been caused. 4. The NRC considered the letter No. 12/16-2003 c-II(3) dated 19.11.2008 of the State Govt. of Haryana and also the NCTE HQtrs letter No. 49-27/2007/NCTE(N&S) Part dated 19.11.2008 and decided to keep pending all B.ED proposals of various institutions including new visiting team reports till further order from the NCTE HQtrs.

“The matter was already placed in the meeting. The cases of Haryana have been already decided as per letter memo NO 12/16-2003 C-II(3) dated 19.11.2008 from Govt. of Haryana and also in this regard from the NCTE Hqrs letter no F-49-27/2007/NCTE(N&S) part dated 19.11.2008.

Further the committee had as mentioned above decided to hold all Haryana cases till the policy letter from Haryana Govt. received.

The Regional Director is advised to convey the decision in the above matter to the Advocate (Legal Counsel) and defend the case in the interest of NCTE.
