COMPANY’S PROFILE

Continental drilling company is a newly bore company but

equipped with new instruments and heavy rigs. A group of senior

geologists, geophysicists and engineers are providing their best

services for ground water exploration and installation of tubewells

to fulfill the shortage of water for drinking / agricultural / industrial

purposes. The primary objective of our firm is to solve the

problems of our clients and provide.

CONTINENTAL DRILLING COMPANY

Continental Drilling Company is a newly built firm of Pakistan. The

main objectives of this company is to provide best services in

geophysical, geological and geotechnical works and specialized

services in ground water exploration and tubewell drilling to fulfill

the shortage of water for drinking, agricultural and industrial sides.

Continental Drilling Company comprising a group of expert in

ground water exploration who explore and confirm the fresh Saline

water interface in different horizons by electrical resistivity survey

using vertical electrical soundings and horizontal profiling methods.

Continental Drilling has new instruments and heavy rigs for deep

drilling to achieve its objective of good quality / quantity of water.

GROUNDWATER STUDIES

CONTINENTAL DRILLING offers specialized services on all aspects of

locating, evaluating and developing groundwater resources for agricultural,

municipal and industrial uses. We attempt to provide the practical and cost

effective solution by employing integrated hydrogeological and geophysical

techniques.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Location and delineation of aquifers.

Selection of suitable drilling site for test holes and tubewell.

Determination of lithologic layers, boundaries, water quality, porosity and permeability of various formations in core and non core drilling using geophysical well logging. Design, construction, supervision and development of tube wells.

Location of fresh water pockets and their extent in saline water areas.

Delineation of fresh water pockets in saline water areas.

Detection of water bearing structures such as fractured zone and faults in bedrocks. Establishment of groundwater data and monitoring the fluctuations in water

table and water quality.

Pumping test analysis for estimating hydraulic properties of the aquifer like

transmissivity, storativity.

Flow-net development and analysis of confined and unconfined aquifers.

Aquifer modeling and management.

Water chemical analysis.

Detection of ground water contamination plumbs and their migration.
