Idea

Vivid temper and burning passion are Madrid’s most outstanding features. Its radiant beauty and red hot

sensuality inspire, tempt and invigorate artists and wannabes. Whether Almodovar, Picasso, Goya, Marquez, Blahnik or

Balenciaga their ideas have always been influenced by Spanish origin and character.

Spain is a mosaic of emotions and desires which our guests can discover piece by piece over the time of their

trip. That is why mosaic pattern will be our key visual element – flawless hair of hand drawn signora is transformed into

colorful mosaic tiles reminding us of magnificent Spanish culture and diverse Wella trends.

Excursion

Sightseeing bus tour is an easy way to discover new city. Typical “must” route including Royal Palace,Prado

Museum, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium stops will be mixed with fun and unique ways of telling about Spanish culture. Day will begin with breathtaking view of the city at Faro de Moncloa tv tower. Madrid is definitely for food lovers whether you are looking for traditional tapas or cutting-edge nueva cocina. Madrid's

own cooking is the proud cuisine of the Castilian high plains. The most celebrated dish is cocido Madrileno, a stew

that mates chickpeas, potatoes and other vegetables with chicken, pork cuts, and beef. We suggest organizing culinary workshop for guests to challenge their cooking skills, get to know traditional recipes and have they very own siesta with a

jar of wine between cooking sessions. if it’s all about trends then we can go for Spanish molecular cuisine and have

fun with extraordinary yet delicious ingredients needed for young pigeon cooked at blowtorch skewer, smoked salmon roe blinis with Provencal herbs or Campari jellification.

Food is a culture in Spain so why not combine lunch with workshop and some history?

Page 20: T4B Wella Madrid Trip 2012

Excursion

Alternative ideas:

- David Delfin Workshop: Spanish designer and artist born in Ronda, Málaga. In 2001 he created successful brand Davidelfin

The event will help understand the creative process, how the collection is created, from conceptual to material. The visit would take place in the artist´s studio, where the designs come to life. The workshop holds a collection of photographs that have been displayed in International art galleries and museums. The creations for the last runway show Mercedes Benz Madrid Fashion Week are on display.

- Museum of Suits: A private guided visit for groups of 20 people per guide. The visit will be a passage in time and history from

the 17th century fashion until today, in which guests will observe the evolution of the suit in each historical moment, reflecting the technological, ideological and moral values of each time period. The museum will be closed to the general public and will be opened exclusively for the group.

- Las Ventas Bull Ring: The bullfight season runs from March to October. Visitors can take a guided tour of the bullring facilities

that includes, a tour of the chapel with its magnificent alter depicting the Virgins of La Paloma and Guadalupe, a walk through the ring and the famous Door of Madrid. The Museo Taurino or Bullfighting Museum is located behind the Las Ventas and is worth a visit to see the magnificent Goya painting of a matador. Tour can be followed by evening show (dates to be confirmed).

Flamenco Night

Madrid’s best nightlife is flamenco. More than entertainment and atmosphere, it's a lifestyle. Flamenco conveys joy, strength and passion. In November 2010, UNESCO even declared Flamenco as an ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity’, in recognition of its universality and its ability to transmit sensations and feelings to the depths of soul. Celebrities from around the world have been devoted to Flamenco when visiting or staying in Madrid. Artists such as Gary Cooper, Rita Hayworth have been enchanted while staying here as well as Nicole Kidman, Natalie Portman and Richard Gere. That is why

Flamenco Dinner is unique experience you will regret to miss! One of the best shows run at Corral del la Moreria restaurant where you can dine watching passionate dance on stage in authentic atmosphere.
