Idea Generation

I have researched a number of themes I would like to base my t-shirt on. On redbubble.com I was inspired by t-shirts with quotes on such as the sitcom Friends series and also a lyrical quote from a famous artist Rihanna by having the image printed in the text. Also I found an image of an eye which has given my the idea to place 2 eyes on the t-shirt and having a quote and rotoscoping to make it more original.

In my research I was inspired by the music t-shirts such as having famous musicians on the t-shirt such as having the artist on or having famous lyrical quotes on the shirt, or having the artist with the quote on it.

Research

Sit com

Another idea is to use one of the most popular sit com ‘Friends’. my idea is to have all the famous friends quote on one design, or another idea is to have all the friends characters printed with different colours.

My final idea that I have come up with is having an image of the eyes on the front of the t-shirt and adding a inspiring quote giving it a unique look. I would do this by rotoscoping the eyes or cubism as this gives a really effective look.

my design will be based on the sit com ‘Friends’. I will be designing my idea into Photoshop. The tool I will be using mostly is the text tool as I have based my idea on the memorable quotes from the series into one design. There will be a range of fonts used to make it more interesting and re-arranged.

Audience

My target audience are aimed at people who are fans of Friends. Ages 14-25. My audience will mostly be students who are either at school or university as Friends is comedy based and can be targeted at any sort of young adult. The Geodemographic for this audience will be an international audience as Friends is popular all around the world.

Monday Tuesday Wednesday-Gather ideas together for my t-shirt and what I will be designing.

-Start filling in the PowerPoint.

-Get the final ideas together onto the mood board and starting finishing the PowerPoint

-Start designing the t-shirt onto Photoshop of the final idea that will be designing.

-Finish off t-shirt design and exporting it onto redbubble meeting the deadline!
