T-shirt design contest! Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami is sponsoring a contest among art students to select the design for the 2020 Blitz Build T-shirt for our volunteers. Habitat for Humanity partners with low-income families to build and sell new homes at very affordable prices. Miami Habitat has helped more than 1,300 families so far. Blitz Build is an accelerated construction project where Habitat builds 10 houses in two weeks with the help of nearly 2,000 volunteers. Each volunteer will receive a commemorative shirt. Please submit your design by Friday, November 15 as a vector file (.eps/.pdf /.ai /.svg /.cdr) to [email protected]. Some things to know: Design needs to be 12 x 16 inches & a minimum of 300dpi Needs to include “Blitz Build 2020” Design needs to be clearly drawn, and “Blitz Build 2020” must be large and legible Design can have anything to do with houses, construction, tools, etc. Aim for thick lines & avoid too much detail. Remember this will be reproduced on a shirt. The winner of the contest will: See their artwork reproduced on 2,500 T-shirts that will be distributed to Habitat volunteers during Blitz Build 2020 Receive 12 shirts in sizes of choice with their winning design Be featured in the Habitat Facebook and all other social media pages Will be recognized at the Blitz dedication ceremony.
