VIETNAMESE NEW YEAR’S MASS: Sunday, Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. the Vietnamese Community will celebrate

the New Year, the Year of the Pig with a Mass at St. Leo’s/Holy Rosary Church. A reception will immediately

follow the Mass in the Church Hall. All are welcome to celebrate with the Vietnamese brothers and sisters. You

MEMORIAL OF ST. BLAISE/BLESSING OF THROATS: Sun., Feb. 3 is the Memorial of St. Blaise. The

traditional blessing of throats will take place during the weekend Masses of Feb. 2 & 3 at St. Leo’s/Holy Rosary

Church. Please come to receive your blessing.

WORLD MARRIAGE DAY: In observance of World Marriage Day, there will be a renewal of marriage vows

on Sat., Feb. 16 at the 4:30 p.m. Mass and on Sun., Feb. 17 at the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Masses.

Couples should attend Mass together so you can renew your marriage vows and receive your blessing.

WORLD DAY OF THE SICK: In observance of the World Day of the Sick, anointing of the sick will take

place after all Masses the weekend of Feb. 9 & 10.

ALTAR & ROSARY/ST. ANN’S SOCIETY MEETING: Sun., Feb. 3 at 12 Noon in the Church Hall. We

will discuss the Piggie Dinner and upcoming events. Hostesses are Maggie Falchek & Mary Lou Cook. New

PERPETUAL NOVENA IN HONOR OF OUR LADY OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL: Every Monday

after 8 a.m. Mass the Novena will be prayed. Please come to honor our Blessed Virgin Mary.

DEVOTIONS IN HONOR OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS: Every First Friday of the Month we will

have devotions in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus following 8 a.m. Mass.

COMMUNION FOR THE HOMEBOUND: Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion from St. Leo’s/

Holy Rosary take Holy Communion to the sick and homebound. Calls are made the First Friday and Third

Sunday of every month. Please advise family members or friends who cannot attend Mass that they can have an

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion bring the Lord Jesus to them. Anyone wishing to receive

HOSPITAL/HOME VISITS: If you or a love one are hospitalized or homebound and wish a visit from

Father Dang, please call the rectory (570) 825-6669. Due to HIPPA regulations, hospitals will not

provide us the names of our parishioners. Father Dang wants to make sure that his parishioners are

visited and blessed when they are ill. He will be happy to hear confessions when requested. Thank you.

DIOCESAN ANNUAL APPEAL: “The Journey Makes Us One.” We are asked to renew our commitment to
