VIBES | NOVEMBER 2018 Written by @enikőjancsek POPCORN THE MOVIE GUIDE VIBES cinema | www.vibesmagazine.hu 01/11: Bohemian Rhapsody Of course you know this film’s title by heart! It is the song of the iconic band Queen and this is a movie about the rock group and its legendary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Follow the band as they evolve around a musical genius up until their Live Aid concert in 1985. See the incredible transformation of actor Rami Malek into the one and only Mercury. Hear the unique music of a world famous rock band. All in all – a one of a kind movie experience. . 09/11: Outlaw King A Netflix film about the rise of Robert the Bruce as the outlawed king of medieval Scotland. From a rebel he became a king, who was forced into battle to save his family, people and country against the English occupation. They fight for God, for their country, for their families with only a handful men against the world’s strongest army. The cast is a great one with Chris Pine, Stephen Dillane, Aaron Taylor- Johnson and Florence Pugh. 22/11: The Nutcracker and the Four Realms I know it is a bit early for Christmas, but this film will jumpstart you right into festive season. There is a dark side to the legend you know and there are troubled realms within the world, to which secrets Clara holds the key and so must save the Four Realms. The film promises the magical music of Tchaikovsky, wonderful cinematography and if you are sharp-eyed, you can even spot world famous ballerina Misty Copeland in the film along actors Keira Knightley, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren. 22/11: Widows This film takes place in Chicago, where the lives of four women suddenly become tied together through the loss of their husbands, who worked together – as criminals. Now they must finish off the job and take matters into their own hands to stop the threat their families face. Steve McQueen, director of Shame and 12 Years a Slave, returns with an incredible story about four strong women played by four wonderful actresses: Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki and Cynthia Erivo.
