We are excited to present a big number of news here at Maison & Objet. Our AW19 collection includes brand new product types in wellness and bath accessories, and our fashion universe is expanded with cosmetic purses and

clutches in new, beautiful quality textiles.

Mette Ditmer tells about her collection: “I believe real quality should be visible to the eye even before the first touch. I believe it creates long-lasting joy when you choose quality in the products you surround yourself with. Good design should last for everyday

use and have a long life. The use-and-throw-away mentality is not durable, and therefore our fall collection is a continuation of the previous so that the new products can be mixed and matched with previous collections ”.

V E N U SVenus was the Roman goddess of love and beauty... and now also the name of Mette Ditmer’s new collection of clutches,

cosmetic purses and vanity bags.

The VENUS series is made of beautiful and characteristic tapestry fabrics with distinctive patterns, soft velvet in a dusty colour mix, golden brass zippers and

contrasting lining that complete the feminine look.

The bags can be mixed and matched beautifully according to taste. The travel clutch measures 34x25 cm, which is the ideal size as a toilet bag in the cabin luggage. The shape, the

stylish colours and the soft material invite you to use the bag as a smart going out clutch, a cover for your iPad or as a bag for passports and tickets when you are traveling.

The cosmetic purse measures 23x14 cm and is suitable not only for make-up, but also as a small bag for phone, coins and keys. The vanity bag measures 28x18 cm and has a customized

bottom so your products remain stable.

Mette Ditmer’s new cushion collection “Boudoir” consists of cushions in 3 different sizes and patterns, which can be

mixed and matched to fit your individual style.

A boudoir is a woman’s private salon, usually situated between the dining room and the bedroom, but can also refer to a woman’s private bedroom.

The BOUDOIR cushion collection is made of beautiful, distinctive tapestry fabrics, soft velour in dusty colour mix, and hard-wearing upholstery fabrics. The different textures, colours, and patterns

are visually bound together by discreet pipings in matching colours. The exquisite fabrics are manufactured in hard wearing quality textiles that makes them stay as they are, even with everyday use.

The cushions are available in three sizes, depending on the design:

B Y H A N DWith BY HAND, Mette Ditmer takes her accessories to the bathroom in a whole new direction, as the series is based

on the designer’s own ceramic craftings.

The idea behind the series is to embrace the imperfect; the handcrafted expression and the uniqueness of each subject which is in sharp contrast to the uniformity

we usually see in mass-produced items.

“After many years of meticulous precision work in my designs, I felt the need to go in a totally different, intuitive and artistic direction. With no specific aim I signed up for pottery class and

quickly fell in love with the unstructured way of designing, by simply letting the clay spontaneously develop in my hands. It feels like a completely natural fusion of who I am as human being and

designer that BY HAND now becomes a series that fits into my brand” says Mette Ditmer.

The series consists of tumbler, soap dish, soap dispenser and toilet brush holder made of stoneware with stainless steel pump, etc.

Available in 2 colours; light and dark grey.

P U R E - N E W W E L L N E S S S E R I E SFor many years Mette Ditmer has designed beautiful fabrics and accessories for the bathroom, so it is quite natural that a wellness series is now being launched.

The new line consists of hand soap, body wash and body lotion - all enriched with natural ingredients and is produced in Denmark.

The hand soap is rich on antioxidants and vitamins A, C, and E. It contains plant-based glycerin, apple fruit, and cloudberry that provide moisture and care for dry hands. It enhances the skin’s elasticity and flexibility.

The scent of lemongrass and lime leaves your hands fresh and clean.

The nourishing body lotion is rich on antioxidants and vitamins A and E. It contains oil extracted from the Shea tree nuts, which softens and moisturizes the skin and maintains its elasticity. The body lotion has a mild and feminine scent.

This mild and effective body wash is enriched with plant-based glycerin, which provide moisture and nutriment, maintaining the skin’s natural moisture balance and elasticity. The body wash has a mild scent of lemon.

In addition to the contents of the wellness series, the packaging displays a beautiful and creative design. The black, transparent pump bottles are available with labels in two different colour themes:

one theme with blue, light purple and brown colour blocks, the second theme in a graphic style, predominantly white and black, but with ocher, brownish and rose colours.

R O O M T O P L A YPLAY is a new and distinctive series for the home.

With its building blocks feet and bold colour choices, the items will add a playful twist to the current interior design style.

The series features a tray on feet, and a mirror on a pedestal. The tray and the mirror’s base are made of polyresin, which is coated with a matte and velvety rubber finish. “I love the tactile qualities of the products.

You feel like touching them and picking them up, only to discover that they are quite heavy. It’s fun to play with the contrasts that way: the soft versus the hard and heavy” says Mette Ditmer.

You can also mix the colour selection, which allows you to choose between the more bold and bright colours yellow and cobalt, as a striking contrast to Mette Ditmer’s otherwise dusty colour palette. The products are

also available in grey and black if you are prefer these colours but still want to play along.

The PLAY tray is perfect for the bathroom, kitchen or bedroom where you can use it for soap, trinkets, make-up, jewelry, cookware or just as an eye-catching and decorative item in your decor.

The PLAY mirror has a two-sided mirror: a classic mirror on one side and a bronze tone mirror on the other side, so there is also the opportunity to play with different expressions.

V E L V E TFive solid coloured velvet cushions in beautiful and

harmonious tones.

The soft VELVET cushions are made from 100% cotton in an

upholstery fabric, which gives the cushions a long life. As part of the design, the cushions are stitched together in two opposite blocks on the front, so the classic velvet

stripes go in each direction. The cushions are equipped with a beautiful and visible

quality brass zipper.

The MOROCCO towels are desig-ned with an ethnic-inspired

pattern that gives associations to the tales of “1001 nights”.

The towel is available in two versions: black/off-white

and black/grey.

distinctive towel in delicious quality. The towel is made of 100% Ecotex certified cotton.
