In What Ways Does My Magazine use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

• The magazine uses a similar form of layout to the music magazine Kerrang by using it as a template to the position of pictures and text throughout the varies pages.

• My Magazine also follows the examples of real media products by using a large picture at the front of the magazine to promote an exclusive or a double page spread on that artist

• I also have used a colour scheme throughout that can be associated and recognised to the magazine this is something that is clearly visible and notable throughout real media products

• I have also tried to develop my magazine by associating the magazine around a single exclusive on a single artist which I saw achieved by

• a lees known magazine.

How Does My Magazine represent a social group?

• My Magazine is representing students between the ages of 16-21 and also young musicians who have yet to have a break through.

• My magazine use appropriate text and language constantly in every page to make sure it targets and reaches the right age group this is done by using modern terms and slang words

• My magazine also represents young bands and musicians by giving them an inspiration by using exclusives of artists who have recently made it from nothing to stardom

What kind on institution might distribute my media product?

• My magazine would likely distributed by a internet site that is new a willing to take on a new brand of magazine . This is because they would be willing to trail the magazine as it new and may not prove to be a hit with customers.

• It would be very unlikely a big name shop or branch would sell as they only sell well known and well branded labels of magazines

• It could also be possible to try and sell it on streets and in around colleges as this is appropriate to the target audience!

How did I attract my target audience?

• I attracted my target audience by asking them what they wanted the magazine to provide and contain this allowed me to act accordingly and provide what they want.

• I also targeted the audience with the images and text that would hit and them hardest and attract them to pick up the magazine.

What have I learnt from creating the magazine the technology process

• I have learnt to have a better and greater understanding of several programs including publisher and paint.

• I have got this understanding by using a bunch of new skills such as for the layout and for editing pictures which has meant I can now be more confident in my ability to create media products.

What I have learnt in the progression from the early stages

• I have learnt that despite all off the planning you can make its still possible to change it and improve it during the creation.

• As I changed the name of my magazine during the process and found out that things never go to plan as you can always improve
