This class will focus on a variety of percussion styles and instruments and will teach students to read and write music. Students will learn the basics on congas, bongos, timbales, guiro, guitar, maracas, shakers, hand bells, drum-set, samba drums, and marching drumlin instruments. We have many different programs or series that we use. Your Story empowers young girls to feel comfortable in their own skin and realizing that they can be whatever they want when they grow. The Ladybug Club deals with nature and sisterhood. It also talks about how everyone can help make the environment a better place no matter their age. Amaze is a program that focuses on the importance of friendship.
