A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL This week you should have received a note from the school regarding the administration of

medications at school. In the past we have kept a small supply of children’s paracetamol, spare

Ventolin inhalers, etc at school in case they were needed. We are now not able to do this.

We fully understand that the department wishes to protect children by ensuring that any

medications that are administered at school have been provided by that child’s family. If your

child takes any medications at school for any reason, then you may be affected by this. More

detail was included in the note that has been sent home. If you did not get one, please let us

know so that we can send one home to you. We are very mindful of any requirements that

will ensure the safety of students and staff at school.

The warmer weather will soon be on the way, so don’t forget to include a hat and sunscreen in

your child’s school bag. If your child doesn’t like to wear a hat, please let your teacher know

and we will include this in our teaching program.

Please don’t forget about Presentation Day on Thursday 15th December. We would love to

have you come along to join in the celebration.
