High operating reliabilityA scale collector container is fittedbelow the stainless steel steamcylinder. The scale managementsystem specific to the unit en-sures that minerals precipitatedduring operation are continuouslyremoved from the steam cylinder,fall into the scale collector con-tainer and are collected there.This prevents disturbances in op-eration by deposit of minerals inthe unit.

Simple maintenanceMaintenance is limited to drain-age of the scale collector contain-er, which can be performed veryquickly 1 to 3 times per year de-pending on the water quality.

Service Technician: Interruptions in operation must be shortthese days. Maintenance of the Mk5 units is rapid and simple,also thanks to the ingenious scale management system.

The fitting and commissioning ofthe OptiSorp system is simpleand fully documented by themanufacturer.

The OptiSorp multiple steam dis-tribution system was developedfor connection to all steam humid-ifiers from Axair, including Defen-sor Mk5, Condair CP2 and CondairGH. This fully satisfies the require-ments of VDI 6022 and ensuresuniform steam distribution overthe entire duct cross-section. Thesteam is taken by the patentedsteam nozzles directly from thecore flow of the individual steamdistribution pipes and blown freefrom condensate into the air flow.The exactly defined pressure dropin the individual steam nozzlesensures a uniform steam outputfrom all nozzles. This permits ex-tremely short humidification dis-tances even with higher humidifi-cation capacities. Steam distribu-tion system and steam nozzlesare made entirely of stainlesssteel and are supplied pre-assem-bled up to 1200 x 1200 mm foreasy installation.

The Condair Esco steam humidifi-cation system is available in twoseries. They are both equally suit-able for technical processes androom air systems and also for fit-ting in machines and equipment.

The choice is largely determinedby the geometry of the humidifi-cation duct. The layout of thesteam distribution pipes is individ-ually adapted to suit design re-quirements.

The Condair Esco DL 40 series is asteam humidification system with asteam connection unit and horizon-tal steam distribution pipes for fit-ting in systems with narrow airducts or long humidification sec-tions.

The Condair Esco DR 73 series is acomplete humidification systemwith a steam connection unit, maindistribution pipe and nozzle stemsfor fitting in systems with wide airducts or short humidification sec-tions.
