System Level Quality World Café
• Encourages powerful questions, candid dialogue, & creative thinking among large groups of people.
• Involves moving to several different tables, with small group dialogues followed by full group synthesis.
• Café facilitators provide directions at each stage of café. If you see them with their hand raised it means “finish your thought, stop talking, and raise your hand.”
• From tribal circles to community coffee and tea houses, from revolutionary cells to European cafés and salons, meaningful conversations have shaped human societies.
• World Cafés follow this legacy of friends, colleagues & strangers engaged in lively, cross-pollinating, small group conversations about the most compelling issues of the time.
