Intelligent controlfor smooth continuous operation

To ensure safe and continuous irrigation oflarge surfaces without interruption, precisemovement of the entire system is of theessence. The Bauer System 5000 excels withits unique design that ensures directionalstability of the system, automatic correctionof deviations between the drive towers (asmay be caused by uneven terrain) and evenwater flow along the entire system length. Ahigh degree of uniformity is attained withoutmajor expenditure even in heavy soils orsteep incline areas.

1. Tower couplingThe sturdy drive tower coupling, free from play, with balland socket perfectly compensates for extreme slopes.Mounted on the outside of the pipe, it does not restrict thecross-section of the mainline pipe, thereby ensuringoptimum water flow without pressure loss. The weather,UV and ozone-resistant hose collar facilitates large anglesin case of uneven ground.

2. Alignment controlBAUER is the only manufacturer to offer a control lever thatis mounted directly above the swivel point of the flexiblejoint (BAUER patent). Any torsion in the pipe has no influenceon the control; the entire system is kept stress-free. Optimumadjustment of switching brackets with precision bearingsof the control cams ensures precise movement transmission.This precise drive tower control system leads to highoperating safety and long service life.

3. Precision controlThe precision control for extreme precision of linear andcenterliner systems and systems with more than 13 drivetowers. The angles between the drive towers are transmittedby means of control cables, counter-balancing any torsionin the steel structure.
