SYNOPSIS OF PROJECT WORK

Samarthanam Parisara is a dry waste management program initiated in 2003 emerging as a

reliable partner for individuals, educational institutions and corporate houses in Bangalore. What

started as donation of newspapers and magazines to be used as writing materials by visually

impaired students has now become an income generation project for Samarthanam Parisara today

recieves dry and E-waste donation which is sent for recycling generation revenue for the

education programs of the organisation.

Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled is working to empower people with disabilities of all forms

to avail quality education and employment opurtunities since 1997. It is a registered Trust with

all statutory compliances since 1997. It is a registered Trust with all statutory compliances in

place. Mr. Mahantesh G.K. is the Founder Managing Trustee of the organization who himself is

a person with visual impairment. The organization aims to enable all round developement of

people with disabilities through nutrition, vocational training and placement linked rehabilitation

programs. The projects of the organisation are spread across JP nagar, Peenya, Bidadi, Dharwad,

Belgaum and Gadag in Karnataka and in U.P, M.P, Jharkhand and Odhissa.

Project Details

Name : Developement of a business plan for collection of used goods and clothes

from various sections of the society in order to help the less fortunate

Objectives : Develope a business plan to expand the reach of the NGO for the

purpose of collection of used goods and clothes and to see through with the

implementation of the project plan.

Role in project : To be an imminent personnel in the working and implementation

of the project, paly an active role in collection and work as a coordinator for the

desired implementation of the project
