Dear Symmetry NTU Signature Track Students
To be eligible for Credits Transfer, you must fulfil the following criteria:
1.
Be signed up to the Signature Track using your NTU email address and full name as shown
on your Matriculation Card;
2.
Fully authenticate (please refer to detailed instructions below) all Graded Assignments,
excluding Graded Single Opinion Polls;
3.
Obtain a minimum overall final score of 60% by the end of the Course.
Failure to meet any of the above criteria will result in ineligibility for the Verified Certificate with
Distinction, and hence ineligibility for the 3 AU Credits Transfer.
What is Identity Authentication?
According toCoursera,Joining a courses Signature Track lets you securely link your coursework
to your identity i.e., it proves that you and only you did all the work! When you join your
courses Signature Track, youll use your Signature Profile to link your identity to each piece of
graded coursework you submit for your course. Also, when you successfully complete the course,
youll earn a Verified Certificatewith Distinction. Youll create a Signature Profile by: 1. Recording
your unique typing pattern; 2. Taking a webcam photo of yourself.
Utilising keystroke dynamics and biometric technology as part of the identity authentication
process ensure your coursework will be linked to you and minimizes cheating.
Authentication process when submitting Graded Assignments
After you have created your Signature Track Profile, you will be prompted to authenticate your
identity every time you submit a Graded Assignment. There are two steps to the process:

As 100% authentication is required, do ensure that you have submitted your Graded
Assignments with authentication; failure to do so will result in ineligibility for Credits Transfer.
You are strongly advisedto take screenshots of the following:
(1) Figure 2Your completed typing pattern with the URL link of the Assignment and date and
time of submission.
(2) Figure 4Your completed webcam photo with the URL link of the Assignment and date and
time of submission.
(3) Figure 5 The acknowledgment statement from Coursera indicating that you have
successfully completed the authentication steps*.
All screenshots should indicate both the title and/or URL link of the Graded Assignment and the
date and time of submission as shown on your computer taskbar.
