- Bitmaps: Allows you to import pictures from any graphical editor, in any format, into InduSoft Web Studio, just by copying and pasting it.

- Linked Pictures: Allows you to display external picture files (bmp, jpg, png, gif, etc) and switch to different pictures dynamically during the runtime.

-Symbols: Allows you to create your own symbols with shapes and animations. Linked objects inherit common characteristics from the “Master Symbol”. Ability to set individual values, tags, or expressions to pre-defined “custom properties”.

- ActiveX Controls: Third-party library of ActiveX controls (COM) that can be hosted by the InduSoft Web Studio ActiveX container. It allows you to access properties, methods, and events from the controls.

- .NET Controls: Third-party library of .NET controls (.NET) that can be hosted by the InduSoft Web Studio .NET control container. It allows you to access properties, methods, and events from the controls.

Tips and tricks

- You can use the Print-Screen keyboard command to capture any image and paste it into InduSoft Web Studio screen editor (or any other editor – e.g.: Paint, CorelDraw, PhotoShop) before pasting it into the InduSoft Web Studio screen editor.

- In addition to tag values and literals, you can assign expressions between parentheses (e.g.: (tagA+tagB) )to Linked Symbols properties.

-You can set a transparent color to any picture pasted into InduSoft Web Studio’s screen editor.

- You can configure tags or expressions between curly braces (e.g.: {MyTag}) in the “Linked File” property of the Linked Picture object, so you can point to different external pictures dynamically during the runtime, just by changing the tag value.

- You can access properties and methods from any ActiveX placed on the screen, just by typing its name followed by a dot (.) on any VBScript interface configured on the screen where the ActiveX control is hosted (e.g. MyControl.MyProperty).
