SYDE 292 Circuits, Instrumentation and Measurement
Instructor: Prof. Dan Stashuk
DC 2613 Ext 32982 [email protected]
Objectives: Based on E & M field concepts define circuit components and introduce circuit concepts.
Introduce instrumentation components necessary for making electrical analog measurements and digitally acquiring these measurements.
Discuss how these components are configured for making
measurements and possible sources of measurement errors.
E & M Field Concepts:
• electric and magnetic fields• charge, electric fields, voltage• current magnetic fields • resistance, capacitance, inductance
