The inside designed for the outsideCity walls or sandy beaches? With the interior of the SX4, we really have thought of

everything. Seat height, seat positioning and space are all developed for comfort andpracticality on long journeys. High ground clearance, large door openings and splitfolding backseats increase boot size to comfortably fit your suitcases. We've also

blended style with functionality by creating discreet storage compartments and largebottle holders that are just as handy on a summer picnic as they are on the morningcommute. The result is a passenger environment which can cope with anything you

decide to throw at it.

Nothing out of the ordinary you might think, but it's thesparkling performance that captures the imagination. Each engine isdesigned to deliver sporty, high-powered performance with sharpacceleration across the entire rev range. They're all incredibly efficientwhen it comes to fuel consumption but, for something really different, go for the 4x4 model. With its clever technology it automatically switchesfrom 2 to 4 wheel drive when the going gets tough.

To start great adventures you have to feel completelyconfident with your vehicle. That's why we always aim to

maximise the safety features in our products. To beginwith the SX4 has an elevated driving position to allowgreater all round visibility and control. It also benefits

from an incredibly tough body structure with front andrear crumple zones that absorb impact energy.

Further safety is provided with ABS and an ElectronicBrake Force System which ensures the brakes are

applied evenly to each wheel, preventing them fromlocking in an emergency. Inside you'll find front, side andcurtain airbags, 3-point seatbelts and child-seat anchors

that combine to create maximum comfort and safetythroughout the reinforced cabin. It all adds up to an

incredibly safe car. So much so, EURO NCAP awarded theSX4 4 stars for occupant protection and 3 stars for

pedestrian and child protection.
