HUDSON VALLEY SWIM

With year-round classes throughout the area, Hudson Valley Swim offers the premier instructional swim program in the Hudson Valley region. Our lesson plan has been developed over many years of working with groups such as the US Swim School Association, U.S.A. Swimming, and the American Red Cross.

INFANT AND TODDLER PROGRAM (ages 6mo - 3 yr.)

Pollywog (was Waterbabies & Parent & Tot)

This class is for children 6-36 months. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or another trusted adult. The objective of this swim level is to introduce children to the water for the first time. Maximum class size is 8 students with parents.

ELEMENTARY PROGRAM (ages 3-7)

Goldfish A program designed for children 3 to 7 years of age. Children have some apprehension about working away from their parents. The class is designed for parents to help work with their child in the water until the swimmer is comfortable working directly with the instructor.

YOUTH PROGRAM (ages 8-12)

Marlin (was Seal & Marlin)

This program is designed for students, ages 8-12 who have little to no swim lesson experience. Students will become comfortable with all aquatic positions above and under water This is a 45 minute class and there will be a maximum of 6 students, usually for ages 7-12.

TEEN & ADULT PROGRAM (13 and older)

Teen Beginner For 13-17 year old teens that have never learned to swim and may have developed a true fear of the water over time. This class is designed specifically to help teenagers feel more comfortable. Class size is typically 6 swimmers.
