electricity is now sourced fromon-site or grid renewables
Replacement LED lighting inGrove, Kier Hardy, and theSports Centre will save up to160tCO2pa
50Kw solar panels in theSports Centre will provide20% of our annual electricity
consumption
So far W ARPit hasdiverted 955 kg of waste
from landfill
New recycling facilities havebeen introduced in all studentresidences, the sports centreand catering facilities

percepon by recycling waste
into furniture and art!
Swans ea University has been awarded about 12,000 to
implement Live Greener. This 12 month project funded
by the Welsh Government is managed through the
Higher Educaon Funding Council Wales (HEFCW), with
the ai m of pung Welsh students and sta at the heart
