From the Snowflake - Blue (B), cut:• (4) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (36) 2 ½” x 4 ½” strips.• (1) 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (14) 2” x 3 ½” strips.

From the Sweater Knit Stripe - Red (C), cut:• Fussy cut (36) 2 ½” squares, each centered on a snowflake.• (1) 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (14) 2” x 3 ½” strips. From the Snowflake - Black (D), cut:• (36) Template 1 triangles.• (36) Template 2 triangles.

From the Argyle - Black/Multi (E), cut:• (1) 4 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (3) 4 ½” squares.• (3) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (36) 2 ½” squares.

From the Fluffy Solid - Red (H), cut:• (10) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (30) 2” x 12 ½” strips.• (6) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Sweater Knit Stripe - Black (I), cut:• (2) 2” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (24) 2” squares.• (1) 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (14) 2” x 3 ½” strips.

From the Argyle - White/Multi (J), cut:• (1) 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (14) 2” x 3 ½” strips.

From the Snowflake - Red (K), cut:• (1) 3 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 3 ½” squares.

From the Tossed Snowmen - Blue (Backing), cut:• (2) 56” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 56” x 65” back.

Sewing Instructions1. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric C square to each end of (1) 2” x 4 ½” Fabric B strip to make the top row. Repeat to make the bottom row. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 4 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 4 ½” Fabric A square lengthwise to make the middle row. Sew the (3) rows together to make (1) Unit 1 block (Fig. 1). Repeat to make (3) Unit 1 blocks total.

2. Sew together (1) Fabric F-Template 1 triangle and (1) Fabric D-Template 1 triangle along the long side to make (1) Unit 2 strip (Fig. 2). Trim to measure 2 ½” x 4 ½”. Repeat to make (36) Unit 2 strips total.

3. Sew together (1) Fabric F-Template 2 triangle and (1) Fabric D-Template 2 triangle along the long side to make (1) Unit 3 strip (Fig. 3). Trim to measure 2 ½” x 4 ½”. Repeat to make (36) Unit 3 strips total.

4. Sew (1) Unit 2 strip and (1) Unit 3 strip together end to end to make (1) Unit 4 strip (Fig. 4). Repeat to make (36) Unit 4 strips total.

5. Sew (1) Unit 4 strip to each side of (1) Unit 1 block. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric E square to each end of (1) Unit 4 strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Unit 1 block to make (1) Block One square (Fig. 5). Repeat to make (3) Block One squares total.

6. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric C square to each end of (1) 2” x 4 ½” Fabric B strip to make the top row. Repeat to make the bottom row. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 4 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 4 ½” Fabric G square lengthwise to make the middle row. Sew the (3) rows together to make (1) Unit 5 block (Fig. 6). Repeat to make (3) Unit 5 blocks total.

7. Sew (1) Unit 4 strip to each side of (1) Unit 5 block. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric E square to each end of (1) Unit 4 strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Unit 5 block to make (1) Block Two square (Fig. 7). Repeat to make (3) Block Two squares total.

8. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric C square to each end of (1) 2” x 4 ½” Fabric B strip to make the top row. Repeat to make the bottom row. Sew (1) 2 ½” x 4 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of (1) 4 ½” Fabric E square lengthwise to make the middle row. Sew the (3) rows together to make (1) Unit 6 block (Fig. 8). Repeat to make (3) Unit 6 blocks total.

9. Sew (1) Unit 4 strip to each side of (1) Unit 6 block. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric E square to each end of (1) Unit 4 strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Unit 6 block to make (1) Block Three square (Fig. 9). Repeat to make (3) Block Three squares total.

10. Sew (4) 2” Fabric I squares and (3) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strips together end to end and alternating them to make (1) Sashing Row (Fig. 10). Repeat to make (6) Sashing Rows total.

11. Sew (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric C strip, (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric I strip, (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric J strip and (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric B strip together lengthwise to make (1) CB strip. Repeat to make (7) CB strips total.

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)15. Sew (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block One square, (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block Two square, (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block Three square and (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip together lengthwise and in that order to make Row One.

16. Sew (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block Three square, (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block One square, (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block Two square and (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip together lengthwise and in that order to make Row Three.

12. Sew the (7) CB strips together end to end to make (1) Pieced Row Two (Fig. 11 below).

13. Sew (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric J strip, (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric B strip, (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric C strip and (1) 2” x 3 ½” Fabric I strip together lengthwise to make (1) JI strip. Repeat to make (7) JI strips total.

14. Sew the (7) JI strips together end to end to make (1) Pieced Row Four (Fig. 12 below).

17. Sew (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block Two square, (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block Three square, (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip, (1) Block One square and (1) 2” x 12 ½” Fabric H strip together lengthwise and in that order to make Row Five.

18. Sew (1) Sashing Row to the top and to the bottom of Row One, Row Three and Row Five.

19. Sew the (5) pieced rows together to make the Center Block.

20. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 51 ½” Fabric G strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 3 ½” Fabric K square to each end of (1) 3 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric G strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

21. Layer and quilt as desired.

22. Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric H strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

23. Bind as desired.
