Every room is of simple standard, has an attached bathroom and can be booked on double occupancy as well. The delicious Ayurvedic meals at the Ashram are vegetarian and prepared without onions, garlic or chili, which makes them perfectly compatible with western palates! Of course Ammaji’s, the Ashram’s restaurant, also offers Indian and continental dishes. In the beautiful Ashram garden, one can sit in the sun and watch the children of the charity school next door playing or eating. Your time at the Ashram – everything your heart could wish for! The classes, all stationery, warm meals, clothing and medical help – all of this is part of the school project. At present, there are more than 200 school children whose parents cannot afford sending their children to school. With the help of donations and the constant efforts of the family, the school has become a known institution in Vrindavan. By participating in this retreat, you already support the project but you are welcome to do more than that, too! With only 160 Euro per year, you can sponsor a child and help him or her to a bright future! Another possibility is to invite the whole school for lunch! For only 95 Euro per day, you can sponsor the ‘Food for a Day’ for the children and will get pictures of the meal. You can help, too! Holi is an extraordinary cultural event, an Indian tradition that is nowadays imitated in many places around the world.While most of India celebrates Holi only on one single day, our town Vrindavan hurls itself into the colours for a complete week – and you can be a part of it!Happy Holi!
