Jal Jeevan Mission Tableaux awarded best Tableaux at the71st Republic Day Parade
The tableaux of the Ministry of Jal Shakti during the 71st Republic Day paradeunderlined the Government’s new initiative Jal Jeevan Mission which aims atproviding Har Ghar Jal by 2024. The tableaux was awarded the best tableaux, alongwith the tableaux of the National Disaster Response Force, by the Hon’ble Ministerof Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh.
National workshop on Jal Shakti Abhiyan with Sadhguru
A national workshop and review for JSA was held on 28th January at Vigyan Bhawan, NewDelhi. Inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister for Jal Shakti, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, andincluded a special interaction with founder, Isha Foundation, Sadhguru who spoke about thespiritual and cultural importance of water conservation.
Panel discussion on Swachh Bharat at the Jaipur LiteraryFestival
A panel discussion on the Swachh Bharat Mission was organised at the Jaipur Literary Festivalwith CEO - NITI Aayog, Shri Amitabh Kant, and Secretary - DDWS, Shri Parameswaran Iyer, inconversation with founder - SANA, Sanchaita Gajapathi Raju.

Swachh Bharat Anthem and AVs on Swachhata were played across all MEA o�ces in India andabroad
MEA o�ces and Indian Embassies/CGIs abroad organised event to collect and segregatePlastic waste for proper waste disposal and recycling
Various Passport O�ces undertook Swachhata activities like shramdaan, educating schoolchildren, writing competitions, tree plantation etc.
Shramdaan was done by sta� members at MEA Residential complexes

Various Swachhata related competitions were organised and winners were awarded

Various All India Radio Stations undertook cleaning and segregation drive for safe disposal ofSolid Waste
Swachhta messages were displayed at prominent places & on the website of Children’s FilmSociety India (CFSI)
Swachh Bharat Anthem was broadcasted in all Doordarshan channels
National Film Archive of India carried out cleanliness drive

Plogging activity was undertaken by the students of IILM Academy of Higher Learning,Gomti Nagar, Lucknow and Model Institute of Engineering and Technology located inJammu
Awareness camps regarding cleanliness were organised at various locations thoroughroadshow, nukkad natak, display of banner etc.
Several Competitions were organised on forest conservation, water conservation, Villagecleaning awareness, innovative technologies for waste recycling and energy conservation
A session on innovative technologies for waste recycling, energy conservation waspresented by the students of SVLNS Govt. Degree college, Visakhapatnam
