"The 3 R's"

Three it's a magic numberYes it is, it's a magic number

Because two times three is sixAnd three times six is eighteen

And the eighteenth letter in the alphabet is RWe've got three R's we're going to talk about today

We've got to learn toReduce, Reuse, RecycleReduce, Reuse, RecycleReduce, Reuse, RecycleReduce, Reuse, Recycle

If you're going to the market to buy some juiceYou've got to bring your own bags and you learn to reduce your waste

And if your brother or your sister's got some cool clothesYou could try them on before you buy some more of those

Reuse, we've got to learn to reuseAnd if the first two R's don't work outAnd if you've got to make some trash

Don't throw it outRecycle, we've got to learn to recycle,

We've got to learn toReduce, Reuse, RecycleReduce, Reuse, RecycleReduce, Reuse, RecycleReduce, Reuse, Recycle

Because three it's a magic numberYes it is, it's a magic number

3, 3, 33, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33, 3633, 30, 27, 24, 21, 18, 15, 12, 9, 6, and

Emergency On Planet Earth

Jamiroquai

The kids need education,And the streets are never clean,

I've seen, a certain disposition, prevailing in the wind,Sweet change, if anybody's listening?

Emergency on planet earth. Is that life that I am witnessing,Or just another wasted birth.

Now, we got emergencyOh, we got emergency on planet Earth

Now, we got emergencyOh, we got emergency on planet Earth

Think we're standing for injustice,White gets two and black gets five years,

Took me quite a while to suss this,But now I know my head is cleared

And a little boy in hungry land, is just a picture in the news,Won't see him in that TV advertising, 'cause it might put you off your food

Now, we got emergencyOh, we got emergency on planet Earth

Now, we got emergencyOh, we got emergency on planet Earth

THE DOORS

"Ship Of Fools"

The human race was dyin' out Noone left to scream and shout

People walking on the moon Smog will get you pretty soon

Everyone was hanging out Hanging up and hanging down

Hanging in and holding fast Hope our little world will last

Yeah, along came Mr. Goodtrips Looking for a new a ship

Come on, people better climb on board Come on, baby, now we're going home

Ship of fools, ship of fools The human race was dyin' out

Noone left to scream and shout People walking on the moon

Smog will get you pretty soon Ship of fools, ship of fools Ship of fools, ship of fools Ship of fools, ship of fools

[improv and fade]

The DOORS as a group were highly intellectual men. Hieronymus Bosch was Jim Morrison's favorite artist and The Ship Of Fools is one of his paintings. The painting is about humanity. How ridiculous life is and how petty we are, while our ship(life) floats aimlessly and never reaches port. I think in this song they're inviting us onto a ship we're already on, so it's completely ironic. Unless you fail to get on board the ship, then life will leave you behind.

JAMIROQUAI "When You Gonna Learn"

Yeah, yeahHave you heard the news today?

People right across the world,Are pledging they will play the game,

Victims of a modern world,Circumstance has brought us here,

Armageddon's come too near,Too, too near, now

Foresight is the only keyTo save our children's destiny,

The consequences are so graveSo, so grave, now

The hypocrites we are their slaves. So my friends to stop the endOn each other we depend,

Oh we depend.Mountain high and river deep,

Stop it going on,We gotta wake this world up from its sleep.

Oh people,Stop it going on,

Yeah, yeahHave you heard the news today?

Money's on the menu in my favourite restaurant,Now don't talk about quantity,

There's no fish let in the sea.Greedy men been killing all the life there ever was,

And you'd better play it natures way,Or she will take it all away,

Don't try and tell me you know more than her about right from wrong,Now you've upset the balance, man,

Done the only thing you can,Now my life is in your hands,

Moutain high and river deep.Oh yeah

Stop it going on,We gotta wake this world up from its sleep.

Oh people,Stop it going on,

Moutain high and river deep.Oh yeah

Stop it going on,We gotta wake this world up from its sleep.

Oh people,Stop it going on,

Greedy men will fade away,When we stop it going on,

I know it's got to be that way,Oh people,

Stop it going on,I'm asking, Oh

When you gonna learnTo stop it going on?

When you gonna learnTo stop it going on?

When you gonna learnTo stop it going on?
