Cost Analysis

RDC-1– Currently $100/ton for landfill disposal– Lowest waste to energy option=$30/ton=saving

$1050/year for one machine– Potential to expand

Cost Analysis

ScaffTag– Currently spending $100/ton for landfill disposal– Recycle @ $0.38/lb=$1,413/year revenue in

addition to $186 cost avoidance– Potential to expand to other vinyl scrap

Cost Analysis

Ink Containers– Used to pay $100/ton for landfill disposal– Compliance-$235/barrel for hazardous disposal

($940/year)– Now, recycle @ $0.38/lb=$500/year revenue

GHG Calculations

Vinyl– 4 MTCO2E

Ink Containers– 1.5 MTCO2E

RDC-1– 200 MBTU– 18 MTCO2E (based on MSW figures)– Waste to energy=less emissions than oil and coal
