The Surveillance and Monitoring Van (SMV) from Shyam is a unique, custom designed solution for law enforcement agencies, transport authorities, disaster management authorities, event management companies and private security companies. SMV is an easily deployable surveillance solution, targeted at monitoring public events (sports, private, political) and overseeing tactical security operations. The solution consists of a mobile surveillance van equipped with Shyam’s Wireless IP video surveillance products. IP cameras with wireless CPE’s are easy to install and can be deployed in a couple of hours. Live video is streamed from the cameras with wireless CPE’s to the vehicle through wireless Base Station and this video is used for recording in NVR, for on-site monitoring and, optionally, remote monitoring. The backhaul connectivity to the central command center is provided through 3G or wireless radio.

MONITORING & SURVEILLANCE SOLUTIONHigh Definition Security CamerasWith Shyam’s megapixel HD cameras, authorities are able to monitor the entire location using high resolution (High Definition) video in real time from a local or remote location simultaneously. Further, these cameras monitor, prevent, and track any suspicious activity. Video streams from the cameras are recorded in NVR for later use. The complete solution is scalable. Connectivity from the cameras is through the Radios or if required, via Ethernet.

ADVANTAGES OF SURVEILLANCE AND MONITORING VAN

  Fully Mobile and Ruggedized: The System is equipped with carrier grade Point to Multipoint Radios, available in any frequency band from 1 to 6 GHz. The entire solution is ruggedized to handle vibration and shocks during transportation. The fully mobile van can easily be deployed at any location for surveillance with no delay.

  Surveillance and Monitoring: The van is equipped with cameras and NVR’s which can be used to monitor any public area, political events etc. The recording is done in the NVR which can be used later for post analysis.

  HD Cameras: Moving images from PTZ and Fixed Box camera are recorded at 720p resolution, providing HD quality video. The cameras support low-light performance with optional IR Lamps.

  Backhaul Connectivity: The van is equipped with wireless radio for transmitting the data to central control center. Wireless backhaul comes from 3G or Satellite Connectivity.

  Scalable Solution: Easily scalable infrastructure to manage surveillance for small and large events; by adding additional cameras and NVRs.

  Power Backup Options: Generator and UPS power backup ensure operation in any environment, without dependence on any local power supply.

  Remote Transmission (Optional): Video and images are transmitted via satellite or 3G to a remote control centre for central monitoring.

APPLICATIONS Public EventsShyam SMV enhances the quality of security at any public event such as exhibitions and sport events. Single or multiple surveillance vans can be deployed and the video feeds from the cameras deployed at the event location can be transmitted to SMV using wireless connectivity. Video is stored in the NVR in each van which can be used later for post event analysis. Political Event/RallyShyam SMV can be deployed at political events or rallies. The IP cameras with wireless CPEs are installed at different locations in the event. After the deployment and connectivity between Cameras and SMV, live video streams are sent to the van. Monitoring of the event can also be done from a remote location.

Covert SurveillanceShyam SMV can be deployed for covert surveillance in situations of suspected terrorist and unlawful activities. Surveillance can be performed in a discreet and professional fashion, documenting a subject’s activities using state of the art equipment.
