PORTABLE SIGNAL REPEATER

The Portable Signal Repeater has been designed specificallyfor use with our covert transmitters. It receives the signal froma nearby transmitter and boosts the signal range with aselectable power output of between 1 and 5 watts. Dependingon the output power chosen, the signal can be boosted over a

range of many miles.

The equipment is extremely ruggedly constructed and its smallsize and signal antenna enables it to be covertly positioned forunattended use outside a target location. The Portable SignalRepeater receives the signal on the same frequency as thetransmitter and then repeats it over a different frequency to areceiving station. E1000 DIGITAL TELEPHONE & FAX MONITORINGSYSTEM

For very good reasons the new E1000 Digital Telephone andFax Monitoring System is the recognised leader in its field andrepresents the most flexible and cost-effective systemcurrently available.

All calls - either telephone or fax - are recorded simultaneously inthree separate places on a hard disc and on two Digital Audio(DAT) tapes. The dual DAT drives are made with a reassuring meantime between failures (MTBF) or 200,000 hours and even if a back-up tape is damaged or faulty, the data is fully protected.

The E1000 is remarkably simple toinstall and use. With the choice of

GPS-BASED VEHICLE TRACKING SYSTEM

The new GPS-Based Vehicle Tracking System uses the most up-

to-date satellite navigation technology and high definition digitalmapping software to provide constant information on the locationof a target vehicle without visual contact.

The Tracking System consists of a specially-developed micro GlobalPositioning Satellite (GPS) receiver which is the size of a matchbox, aGSM cellular interface, power supply unit and a lap-top computer

incorporating a digitised colour mappingsystem of the local area or country. Anumber of vehicles can be tracked at thesame time and, depending on thesophistication required, much informationregarding the status of the vehicle-including the vehicles location, speedand fuel level - can be relayed back to thereceiving station.

The system is based on a well- provenAutomatic Vehicle Location system. Thissystem also makes use of signals fromGPS navigation satellites, and is currentlyin use with UK and overseas governmentagencies, as well as fleet operators, toidentify the exact location of theirvehicles.

Each Tracking System is tailored to meet the precise requirements ofa client and takes advantage of the latest advances in satellitenavigation, radio communications, as well as computerised digitalmapping technology.

The same technology can be used to track high value articles as well asindividual personnel. When incorporating an emergency button, thesystem is also used for the protection of prominent VIPs, or otherpersonnel, who could be vulnerable to attack. (see PE 144 on page 81).
