The game is said to build character, courage and determination. To stand steadfast in the face of imminent danger, and to protect your wicket at all cost is a feat, if it can be achieved, that is held in the highest regard by those peers of the person achieving.

Many people consider cricket to be the ‘traditional’ English sport. That’s not surprising as it is part of the history and culture of England and there isreference to a game like cricket being played during the time ofKing Edward I over 700 years ago. The first organised game of cricket took place in the south of England in approximately 1730. From 1870 onwards, the popularity of cricket began to spread around the world.Surridge was established in 1867. Surridge is rich in ground breaking, innovative product development history and to this day has the same approach to giving the best product to the customer at the best price. Surridge is proud to be the No. 1 cricket teamwear supplier in the UK and is, equally, as proud of the companies’ heritage.

Cricketers wear their playing apparel for over 6 hours during an average game. The mental concentration required from cricketers whilst performing physical tasks is a testament to the individual and the game today.These individuals do not need distractions and need to feel comfortable while enduring the rigors on a cricket field. Surridge understand this, as we are cricketers. Our knowledge and experience of supplying cricketers at the highest level allows us to also understand the needs of the amateur player. To avoid an artwork setup charge you can supply Surridge with your artwork in the correct format. We accept AI, EPS or a High resolution Jpeg with a resolution of no less than 300 dpi. Embroidery files should be supplied in Tajima.DST or .EMB formats.
