WELCOME...

Surrey Heath Borough Council is proud to be a Walking for Health accredited scheme provider. Please see the events pages for specific Walks.

The group has been formed by Surrey Heath Borough Council Greenspace Team as a way for local residents to be actively involved in the development of the parks and shape their future. Being a Park Pal gives you the chance to have your say, feedback on current projects, share ideas and you’ll have the chance to fundraise for projects that matter to your community.

You will also have the opportunity to get your hands dirty and help out practically on a range of projects in Surrey Heath such as repainting playgrounds, Flourish Community Garden events and workshops and helping on the new Memory Garden project at Windle Valley Day Centre.

Other benefits of being a Park Pal include social events at Flourish Community Garden and BBQs at

Frimley Lodge Park, and working on special events similar to the Hampton Court Flower Show where Flourish won silver in 2013.

Please contact Bethany Lee on 01276 707323 or email:[email protected] to find out more.
