Punta Hermosa Surfcamp

Located 45 kms from Peru’s ca-pital this area has waves all year round. Even during the Peruvian summer from January till April when waves are smaller, the area around Punta Hermosa is exposed to minor swells which make surfing possible almost every day. Many surf points are beach breaks right or left and are located just a short walking distance (5 to 15 minutes) from surfcamp. They are not over-crowded points and surfing early is the best option to have clean glassy waves and avoid some later windy conditions. Different extra options activities are always possible to arrange for our guests like visiting old pre-Inca temples, rafting in one all year sunny valleys, doing some rock climbing or paragliding tan-dem over the sea.

We have a surfhouse 3 floors big with 5 rooms for up to 4 surfers each one, 3 full bathrooms inclu-ding one at the entrance door with shower where you can rinse your wetsuit and change your clothes and a big rack for storage surf-boards. Services include 3 meals a day prepared by our resident chef; Peruvian specialties will amaze your taste, kitchen facilities are available for surfers including frid-ge, microwave, blender and bbq area. In second floor is a chill out zone for our guests featuring: In-ternet cabin, ping pong table, TV 21’ dvd unit with a large number of surfing movies, concerts, tourism videos, the latest cinema movies

Lobitos X-treme Surfcamp

Location can’t be better just in front of the main surfspot in Lo-bitos, our surfcamp has 4 bunga-lows with private bathroom each, from your bed you can see the per-fect wave of Lobitos breaking and breaking.

Surfcamp offers a restaurant and bar big garden and hammocks to lay down and relax after intensi-ve surf sessions, this place is one of the best in northern Peru, also compared with Hawaii north sho-re weather is perfect all year round with an average of 26° degrees at winter and 30° in summer, water temperature is cool and summer is for surfing with lycra only.

This surfcamp is located in the middle of the dessert area so we ask our guests to be careful with water use and drink always water from bottles.From Lobitos and depending on season other incredible spots are reachable such as famous: Cabo Blanco perfect barrels just for ex-perts and other spots like Organos, Piscinas, Golf, Muelles and off course some secret spots that we want to keep it like that, just our guests will surf there with total confidence. Mancora Hotel

Mancora is the biggest beach town in the northern area, this is the pla-ce for little relax and meet more travelers, here you can find diffe-rent kind of restaurants and hotels from luxuries small resorts in front of the beach to better budget pri-ces in lodges for backpackers and surfers. From here you can go to Ecuador, take money from ATM’s or book different tours to the na-tural mangroves, where the river meets the ocean. Trujillo – Huanchaco

Huanchaco is a beach and summer vacation spot in the northern city of Trujillo, Peru. Huanchaco is fa-mous for a few things but in par-ticular for being a surfer’s dream spot and its caballitos de totora. The most famous food there is the ceviche. Huanchaco is near-by the very famous ruins of Chan Chan. Throughout 2008 the town underwent significant improve-ments with all streets being pa-ved with decorative bricks and the main ocean drive landscaped with plants.

Tourist Atractions: The largest Pre-Columbian city in South Ame-rica, Chan Chan is an archaeologi-cal site located in the Peruvian re-gion of La Libertad, five km west of Trujillo. Chan Chan covers an area of approximately 20 km², and had a dense urban center of about 6km².[1] Chan Chan was construc-ted by the Chimor (the kingdom of the Chimú), a late intermediate period civilization which grew out of the remnants of the Moche civi-lization.

The vast adobe city of Chan Chan was built by the Chimu around AD 850 and lasted until its conquest by the Inca Empire in AD 1470. It was the imperial capital of the Chimor until it was conquered in the 15th century. It is estimated that around 30,000 people lived in the city of Chan Chan.

Huanchaco Surf lodge:
