Surface Heating Jackets, Mats & Panels

ESH Trace Heating Ltd manufacture custom made non-insulated and insulated heating jackets, surface heating mats and panels for many applications of up to +400°C. 

Due to our flexibility we can design surface heating systems from customer specifications, produce full design briefs or prototypes and manufacture with full customer branding to allow customers to market their own business rather than ours.

Insulated heating jackets can overcome heating problems with very complex shapes of differing vessels. Jackets can be designed to customer drawings or by site visit and evaluation. 

The construction of the surface heating jackets would be determined by the application and requirements of the customer. This will affect the working temperatures of up to +400°C.

The materials that can be used range from waterproof nylon, glass cloth, silicone faced glass cloth and aluminised glass cloth, for inner or outer faces. Combined with glass fibre insulation of varying thickness.

Flexible Heating Jackets Heating Mats Type ESHThese surface heating mats are specifically designed for the heating of industrial storage tanks and vessels and can be maintained at elevated temperatures of up to +100°C.

Type ESH heating panels are suitable for use on horizontal or vertical cylindrical storage tanks. They are flexible with a minimum curvature of radius of approximately 1m and simple flexed onto the tank surface and tension banded in place.

Standard heating panels with an average rating of 900 watts per m ² are available for use on all types of metal tanks containing no-heat sensitive materials. For us with non-metallic tanks or temperature sensitive contents, reduced power loading are required to prevent heat damage.

Heating Panels Type AGD Heater Panels Type GRP

These lightweight surface heating panels are for applications to flat surfaces. The panels can be supplied with a self adhesive back face enabling them to be fitted to clean flat surfaces. Max withstand temperature of +180°C.

Silicone rubber insulated nicrome heating elements are securely fixed to a woven glass cloth carrier and covered with aluminium foil on both sides.

Type GRP panels are industrial grade GRP series or parallel resistance heating panels for process vessel heating applications. For use on internal and external locations in non-hazardous areas. Suitable for applications from -30°C to +100°C.

The polyester resin used in the manufacture of GRP surface heating panels is impervious to most chemical attack, it can be exposed to the weather and immersed in a variety of organic solutions. Can also be supplied with a waterproof gel coat.
