Today’s Panelists Geoff Delisio, Senior Vice President, Zurich NA In his current role as Senior Vice President Surety – Head of Contract Surety, Geoff has operational and underwriting responsibility for Zurich’s contract surety book in North America. Prior to his current role, Geoff had roles at Zurich involving both operational and underwriting responsibility including a regional manager role as well as a senior underwriting officer. Geoff spent several years in field and home office positions with another major surety prior joining Zurich. Prior to entering the surety industry, Mr. Delisio held challenging positions of both a technical and managerial nature while working for a nationwide geotechnical and civil engineering company. His last position involved leading the Northeast Region, which included five offices encompassing eight profit centers with a total managerial and technical staff of 140 people. In SVP role was responsible for regional P&L, strategic business development plan, mentoring/training of staff, recruiting, and employee retention. Geoff received a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Northeastern University. He is a Professional Engineer registered in the States of Pennsylvania and Georgia as well as a LEED Accredited Professional.

Today’s Panelists Aaron Toppston, Director, Aon Infrastructure Solutions Aaron Toppston is the founding member and Director of Aon Infrastructure Solutions (AIS), a global practice group dedicated to the public-private partnership (P3) industry. Areas of expertise include performance security, surety, and risk evaluation for major US civil and social infrastructure projects. Aaron is responsible for successful growth of the AIS business and integration into Aon’s operating platform. In addition to serving as a project risk advisor, Aaron is also the leading advisor to construction clients on the US P3 market and is a strategic advisor to numerous firms developing concessionaire entities. Aaron also serves as strategic advisor to both Aon’s US and global construction Executive Committees, driving insights and recommendations on growth initiatives in the P3 and construction industries. Aaron’s work has been published in numerous industry journals.
