The One Who

ل� ل ل

created

ل� و� ل� و� ٱ

death

ل� ل��ٲ ل� و� ل�ٱ

and life

ل�ي�ب�ل�و�ك�م�

that He may test you

�ي ك� أم�

which of you

س� أ�ح�ن�

(is) best

� ا�‌ ل�ل ع

(in) deed

ه� و�و�

And He

ز� ذ�ي �ل و� ٱ

(is) the All-Mighty

�ز ز�� ل و� ٱ

the Oft-Forgiving.

[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -
