CONCLUSION:

Talk softly in the presence of the prophet saw.If a piece of gossip reaches you, DO NOT believe in it until you have checked out yourself.

If 2 Muslim friends have had a fight make peace between them.Do not scoff at others as they might be better human beings before God.

Do not call a fellow being by insulting names.Do not spy on others their privacy is important.Backbiting is equal to eating the flesh of your own dead brother.

Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.8, Hadith No.92:

Allah’s messenger (saw) said, “Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst false tales; and not look for others faults, and do not do spying on one another, and do not desert (stop talking) to one another. And O Allah’s worshippers! Be brothers!”
