Ruku No 1:• Moral emendation ------- comment/critique on Battle of Badr

• Muslims should focus their attentions on their goal - the reform of the world -

rather than on the material benefits which accrue to them incidental by way of

God's additional reward in lieu of their strivings.

• Accepting and submitting to all the commands of God and the Prophet (SAW)

• Unity among people is based on Taqwa ---- Taqwa demands obedience.

• Five attributes of a true believer ----Fear of Allah, increase in faith, trust in Allah, establish

prayer and spending in the way of Allah ---- high ranks

• Three rewards --- High ranks due to inward and spiritual attributes, forgiveness due to

physical deeds like Salah and dignified provision for what they spent.

• Allah always separate false from truth.

Ruku No 2:• Allah’s support in all forms in battle of Badr ----- Angels, resting of heart, drowsiness,

feeling of peace and security, suppression of fear and panic, casting terror in the hearts of

disbeliever, rain and sand as blessings.

• Turning back and deserting the battle field is not permissible ----- Communal harm, affect

on morale of others

• Intention, quality, communal effects of righteous deed.

• Momin is the one who is obedient to Allah and Rasolallah(SAW).

• If you obey Allah’s command and follow Prophet(SAW) rather than your own desires with

courage, you will be victorious ---- God’s planning and human implementation.

Ruku No 3:• Stages of listening ----- hearing, understanding, believing, act on it (relate and analyze)

• Obedience to Rasolallah(SAW) ---- response to a call to life

• Effective thoughts to prevent hypocrisy (1) God knows our intentions, desires, the purposes

which we seek to achieve. (2) Ultimately every man will be mustered to God ,we cannot

escape His judgments.

• Tip to safe your heart from whispering of Satan --- immediate obedience, no delay.

• Good is when you crave for truth ---- Reward from Allah for your goodness are opportunities

to listen good.

• Protection from widespread social evils = Enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil

• A community that does not stand up to wrong doers is guilty too.

• Thankfulness ---- Heart, speech and action

• Do not be unfaithful to Allah and the Messenger and your trusts --- embrace all responsibilities

• How belongings and children are a trial?

• Excessive love of money and one's children often impair the sincerity of a person's

faith and often lead man to hypocrisy, treachery and dishonesty.

Ruku No 4:• Three rewards of Taqwa (1) criterion to distinguish between right and wrong (2) cleansing of

sins (3) forgiveness

• Merits and blessings of Istaghfar.

• Making deen a matter of fun and sport is always the attitude of ignorant.

• Unbelievers always spent a lot to hinder truth but they are always unsuccessful.

• Allah always separate good from the bad.

Ruku No 5:• What is mischief(fitna)? ----- chain of pain, retributive sufferings and endless woes on

Muslims --- Necessity of Jihad -- Provision for defensive and offensive war.(fight oppression)

• One fifth of the spoil belongs to Allah and his Rasool ---- 5 categories to spend it

• The day of the battle of Badr was the day of distinction.(Furqan)

• The purpose of vision of less or more of believers and disbelievers to each other.

• Allah’s will at work.

Ruku No 6:• Six do’s and don’t for believers.

• Be steadfast, remember Allah, obey Allah and His Messenger, Do not quarrel with one

another, patience and avoid the attitude of conceit, show off and boasting of strength.

• Disputes and quarrels among each other turns into weakness, cowardice and make you

lose predominance.

• Promises of Satan and then turning on his heels --- Satan’s deception and personal defense

• Success come by actually being on straight path and not by simply having sincere

intentions.

Ruku No 7:• Believers will be called in state of delusion by hypocrites.(shortsightedness)

• Ayah 50 ---- Proof of punishment in graves.

• Unless a nation renders itself totally unworthy of God's favor, it is not deprived of it. Change

will only come when you want to change yourself.

• Worst moving creatures in the sight of Allah ---- Who denied truth

• Breaching of treaty ----- covenant of madina with Jews ---- Let’s check ourselves, our

promises? Allah does not love the treacherous.

Ruku No 8:• Prepare yourself for defense of Islam ----- Motivation to equip yourself with technology.

• Mental and physical preparation to cast terror into the enemy.(defense strategy)

• International policy should not be timid.

• Welcome peace and reconciliation offers ---- Moral victory

• Joining of heart only comes from Allah(SWT), pray for it

• Real and lasting unity among Muslims depends on obedience to Allah(SWT).

• Where to place all trust ? ----- Allah(SWT)

Ruku No 9:• Rouse ---- urge the believers to fight, motivate them for Jihad.

• The reason why 1 believer is enough to overcome 10 unbeliever ---- pure intention,

sincerity, strength of their faith, passion of martyrdom ----- understanding

• 1 believer is enough to overcome 2 unbeliever --- This is not cancellation of previous ratio

but the conditions , lack of training, weakness and lack of understanding reduce the ratio.

• Ruling on captive of wars ---- Ransom money from Badr’s captives

• Spoil money is lawful and pure but focus should be on objective , spoil money is just a

secondary benefit.
