RecommendationsRecommendations Lighting is clearly shown as both deficit and playing an important role in feeling safe Even where there are lights they are quite dim It is thereforefeeling  safe. Even where there are lights, they are quite dim. It is therefore important to improve lighting evenly in the colony and to have brighter lights at the entrances.

Given the poor connectivity in many parts of Gurgaon, improving public transport facilities such as bus stops, regulated buses and having auto/taxi stands at regular intervals will give people better access to public spaces.

Re‐arrangement of street vendors, especially on the main roads, will not only provide comfortable transit but also provide visibility to the crowd on the street.

Implementing the above mentioned recommendations will encourage women and children to use the public spaces.

Presence of visible security was low in the city. It is important to have visible security at key points and police patrolling along the main roads.
