We are no specialists in supply chain management, even so we were asked to give our view on supply chain to a group of specialists… We presented them 8 guidelines of supply chain management based on our own philosophy: learn from others.

Did you know that trucks only operate at 50% utilisation rate? (They are half empty with a heavy load or completely full, but not loaded to their fullest capacity.)
This led to the idea of an internet for goods. By testing this concept, bringing a load form Quebec to LA took just 1 day instead of 2.5.
