The Australian Government is investing $90 billion in constructing some of the most technologically advanced ships and submarines in the world, which will play a pivotal role in ensuring the defence of our borders and stability of our region. This investment will create approximately 15,000 jobs across many diverse job families. There is a career to suit every Australian, including unqualified workers, first year apprentices and graduates, and experienced professionals. Manage suppliers and development of purchasing strategies which meet budgetary and operational requirements for the organisation. Oversee procurement program support and the development and maintenance of stakeholder and supplier relationships. Possess strong market knowledge of trends, reporting and recording skills and have the ability to apply analytical processes including numerical and quantitative data interpretation.
