• Truck capacity is up 8.1% over last year. • Average price of diesel fuel is up 4-cents per gallon over

last year.• Trucking industry employment is up 3.3% over last year. • Orders for heavy trucks (what we call Class 8) are

DOWN for the year.• Trade with NAFTA partners Canada and Mexico is up

8.3 percent, the 42nd consecutive month of monthly increases as recorded by USDOT.
