Supplication for protection and safety

It is narrated in a tradition from Imam Zainul Abideen (a.s.) that he said: Onewho recites this supplication, if all the jinns and men come together to cause

harm to him, they could not harm him. It is as follows:

 ' ! 9L !ا , H ل L !ا هلب F( ا  M> ( D#ismillaahi wa billaahi wa minallaahi wa ilallaahi wa feesabeelillaahi allaahumma ilai!a aslamtu nafsee, wa ilai!a wajjahtuwajhee, wa ilai!a fawwa"#tu amree, wah$fa"$nee bih$if"$il eemaanimim baini yadayya wa min !halfee wa a$yn yameenee wa a$nshimaalee wa min fau%ee wa min tah$tee wadfa$ a$nnee bih$auli!awa %uwwati!a wa laa h$aula wa laa %uwwata illaa billaahil a$leeyila$"$eem.

[In the name of Allah and by Allah and from Allah and for the sake of Allah. O

 Allah I submit my self to Thee, and towards You I have turned my face, andtowards You I have entrusted my aair. And protect me by the safety of faithfrom before me and from behind me, and from my riht and from my left and from above me and from below me. And ward o from me by Your  power and Your strenth! and there is no power and miht e"cept by Allah,the #"alted and the $ihty%

&ecite Ayatul 'ursi for seen days, at sunrise, facing the ibla before spea!ing to

anyone *+ times. hen you reach -ya$lamu maa baina# point in the direction of the

enemy, and there is no doubt that he will be destroyed. And when you reach

-yashfau$ I$ndahu# ma!e intention of gaining the a/ection of that person, and there

is no doubt that he would obtain his a/ection. It is ac!nowledged to be e/ectie

with the condition that it should be strictly for permissible matters

If he is able to, he must accompany it by the word:XL$: Y3$aa 6eem A$in 5een

aaf) and recite both the words in a single sitting *722 time then recite the prayer

for needs and it is proen e/ectie
