SUPERSIZE ME!

I heard about a fella who went into a McDonald’s and ordered his

customary value meal. The cashier immediately asked him if he wanted

to “supersize” his order. He wanted to know if the man wanted his order

to be bigger.

The man told him “no” ... he just wanted his regular-sized order.

The cashier asked again, more insistently, if he didn’t want his order

supersized. The man told him “no, thank you,” got his regular-sized order

and drove off.

Some people go through life always ordering off the value menu

spiritually. Jesus promised His disciples: “I have come that they may

have life and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

If you’re tired of regular or ordinary living, God is offering to

supersize your life!

Dan Wheeler will be preaching at the Georgia Road CoC Gospel Meeting August 12-15 at 7 PM.

L2L Coordinators and anyone that is interested in working in this ministry are to attend a planning meeting in the Seminar room, Sunday, August 19 at 4 PM with Scott and Mike.

L2L kickoff Luncheon will be on August 26 after AM service in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite dish and 1 side. Drinks and desserts will be provided.

Our college students will be back for worship on Sunday, August 26! After PM service, we’ll be hosting a Meet & Greet for our students in the Fellowship Hall.
