Laurel Star Letter to the Editor

Laurel Star, March 27, 2014, p. 19, Pat Murphy

“. . . Laurel School District alone had 44 students drop out of school last year.”

This statement is incorrect.

Laurel School District Drop Out Rate 2011 – 2012; 44 Students 2012 – 2013; 24 Students

While we want to prevent all drop outs, we are very pleased that the Laurel School District dropout rate is decreasing.
